About the workshop
This workshop is focused on how software IP can be protected and licensed. In particular, we shall examine strategies for patent protection of software. The instruction shall use cases and examples to illustrate how software can be protected. The second session shall focus on licensing models – both open source and proprietary licensing models.
The workshop is relevant to sectors — core software products/ mobile apps/ software enabled services/ technical and scientific software/ IOT/ Data analytics/ Automation etc. The workshop shall be conducted by LegaLogic – a leading law firm based out of Pune with expensive experience working with a variety of IT firms. The core team of LegaLogic originates out of Persistent Systems – leading IT firm.
