Rights of Persons with Disabilities Rules, 2017

The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment has recently notified the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Rules, 2017 (RPWD). The Rules have been issued under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 which complies with the UN Convention on Rights of Persons with Disabilities, to which India became a signatory in 2007.
