GigIndia, raised around US$ 1 Mn (Rs 7.3 crore) in the funding round, which also saw the participation from existing angel investors Mr. S Ramadorai, former CEO of TCS, Mr. Kiran Deshpande, former CEO of Tech Mahindra; Mr. Ravi Nigam, former MD & Co-founder of Tasty Bite Eatables; and Mr. Shashank Deshpande, Co-founder of Clarice Technologies.

Other angel investors who participated in this round are Mr. Shantanu Deshpande, CEO of Bombay Shaving Company, Ms. Sakshi Gudwani, Senior Program Officer, Gates Foundation and Dr. Pratap Singh Gudwani.
