Chirag is a Chartered Accountant with close to a decade of experience advising corporates, private equity investors, and multinational groups on the tax and regulatory aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and cross-border transactions. He works closely with promoters, boards, and investors on structuring, due diligence, and regulatory compliance across domestic and international deals.

His transaction experience spans buy-side and sell-side mandates across sectors including manufacturing, technology, food delivery, multi-brand retail, and advising multinational investors on joint ventures and stake acquisitions in Indian companies.

Beyond transaction advisory, Chirag has led corporate restructuring assignments, including the end-to-end evaluation and implementation of schemes of amalgamation, evaluation of inbound

and outbound structuring options, cash extraction strategies, and advisory on promoter control retention, indirect transfer implications, and cross-border mergers.

For the last five years at Globeview Advisors LLP and over 3 years at KPMG he has worked on M&A transactions, restructuring projects, cross border tax advisory and promoter advisory. Earlier in his career, at N. A. Shah Associates LLP, Chirag worked extensively on direct and international tax matters, including tax compliance, transfer pricing documentation, and treaty evaluation, and represented clients in tax litigation.

Chirag writes and regularly on developments in Indian tax law, with articles featured in CNBC-TV18, NDTV Profit, and Taxsutra on various topics. He also delivers lectures at ICAI and ILS Law College, Pune, and has contributed to a book on Corporate Social Responsibility Law & Practice.
