Ameya is a Chartered Accountant and cross-border tax expert with over 24 years of professional experience in direct tax, international tax, and business and transaction advisory.

Ameya founded Globeview Advisors LLP, a boutique tax-centric business advisory firm, where he advised clients on business restructuring, M&A tax, promoter and HNI tax matters, cross-border transactions, and tax litigation strategy, and assisted resolution professionals and banks on tax positions under insolvency proceedings. Earlier in his consulting career, Ameya worked with Ernst & Young and PwC between 2003 and 2010, advising Indian and international MNCs on domestic and international tax, business restructuring, and M&A.

In 2010, he co-founded Taxsutra, a leading B2B tax news and information portal in India, and served as its Executive Editor until 2019, leading its editorial, technical, and business growth functions. Ameya also is the co-founder of Product8ive – an AI for finance venture.

Ameya is a regular speaker at Indian and global forums. He serves on the Managing Council of the Chamber of Tax Consultants and chairs its Journal Committee. He has served on committees of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, IFA and BCAS. He is visiting faculty at ILS Law College, Pune, and has served on the Board of Studies at Symbiosis College of Commerce, Pune. He also serves on the board of directors of Victor Reinz (India) Private Limited, and is associated with Door Step School Foundation, an NGO working in the field of education in and around Pune.

Ameya secured the 7th All India Rank in the ICAI Final examination and the 2nd Rank at the University of Pune in his Commerce Graduation examination.
