Adesh is an employment and labour lawyer with over 12 years of experience advising organisations on employment law, employee relations and workforce risk management across India and the Asia-Pacific region. He advises clients across sectors and growth stages on structuring employment frameworks, disciplinary and investigation processes, and workforce governance that align legal compliance with commercial and operational realities.
His practice includes advising on the full lifecycle of employment matters, from drafting and structuring employment agreements, policies, and handbooks to leading complex workplace investigations and domestic inquiries into misconduct, fraud, and disciplinary matters. He has personally conducted inquiries as an Inquiry Officer and Presenting Officer, and brings a litigator's grounding to every engagement, having trained and practised before Labour Courts, Industrial Tribunals, the Maharashtra Administrative Tribunal, and the Central Administrative Tribunal earlier in his career.
On the employer advisory side, Adesh has led legal strategy for large-scale workforce restructuring and redundancy programmes, managed employment aspects of business transitions including carve-outs and spinoffs, and advised on POSH governance, industrial relations, and cross-border employee relations matters spanning India, APAC and the US. His work includes designing employment documentation frameworks, disciplinary and investigation playbooks, and internal governance systems that give HR and business leadership consistent, legally defensible processes at scale.
Adesh also advises clients on building internal capability and reducing dependency on ad hoc external support, developing structured escalation frameworks, training programmes, and self-service tools that allow HR and business stakeholders to manage routine employee relations matters confidently while reserving specialist advisory support for genuinely complex or high-risk situations. Collectively, his advisory, investigative, and governance work helps organisations build workforce practices that are compliant, defensible, and commercially pragmatic.
